そろそろ、日よけが欲しくなるころ。遠矢さんの帽子がまたやってきます。希少なフィレンツェのアンティーク素材パーリャを使った夏帽子はもちろん、お菓子のようにちょこんと頭に乗せる軽やかなトーク帽や、線の遊びある帽子も登場です。建築畑出身の遠矢さんが創りだす頭上の造形は、エレガントさが加わり、とても素敵。心躍ります。

You have a chance to see the hats of Ms.Yoko Toya this year, too.

You can enjoy the summer hats of antique straw from Florence, the light toques like sweets and the unique line hats.

They are so nice with the elegant form that Ms. Toya made. Who is a originally architect.

電気のパーツなどを取り入れ、ユニークな刺繍の世界を創りだす雅子さん。

今回は雑誌の切り抜きをコラージュして、その色彩をいかに糸で表現するかという

試みをツイストステッチでしています。

「そもそも、雑誌の切り抜き写真の色をどう解釈するかも、人それぞれ違ってくると

思います。そこがこの刺繍の面白さかもしれません」と雅子さん。

Masako creates an unique embroidery world using electronic parts.

This time, she makes collage of the magazine clipping and expresses their colors by twisted stitching of embroidery threads.

Masako says, “Basically, when people interpret the color of the magazine clipping pictures, I think that the interpretation depends on each person. Which makes embroidery interesting.”
